Eligibility and Entry

To be eligible to win, entrants will be those who, by 6:00 p.m. on  Friday, March 10, 2023, have completed any of the following: 1) dropped off their 2022 tax paperwork (detailed in the “More Information” section of the Tax Services page) at any Guardian Credit Union branch location, 2) scheduled a 2022 tax filing preparation appointment with us by calling (414) 546-7450 or visiting any Guardian Credit Union branch, or 3) dropped off a letter indicating interest in entering Guardian’s 2022 tax preparation services promotion with their name, address, phone number, and email address at any Guardian Credit Union branch location. No purchase is necessary to enter and win. Must be at least 18 to win. Limit one entry per person and only one entry is allowed per tax return. The winner will receive free tax preparation services worth up to $165, applicable to 2022 tax return filings only. There will be a total of six (6) winners selected. The odds of winning vary depending on the number of entries.

Winner Selection and Notification

Six winners will be randomly selected and notified by email or phone by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 or by postal mail postmarked by Friday, March 24, 2023.

Prize Redemption

If the winner has not yet paid for tax services, the total amount due for tax services performed will be discounted up to $165. If the winner has already paid for services, the cost of services, up to $165, will be refunded via check. The check will be mailed to each winner at the address provided on the 2022 tax return. In all cases, the winner will be responsible for all costs exceeding $165 and will not be paid out more than the cost of services rendered (should the services be valued under $165). Winners must provide all of the necessary tax paperwork by April 10, 2023 in order for our tax professional to file the 2022 tax returns in a timely manner. If a winner fails to provide all of the necessary tax return filing paperwork by the April 10, 2023 deadline, he or she forfeits the prize and a new winner will be selected. Prize redeemable by the winner only for preparation of his or her own (single, joint or business) tax return filing. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY A WINNER (DETERMINED AT GUARDIAN CREDIT UNION’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE GIVEAWAY, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
