Fraud Protection Enhancements

Fraud protection enhancements are available as a benefit of Guardian Assurance and Access Checking Accounts. These enhancements are available as an add-on to other Guardian checking accounts for a fee of $2.00 per month.

Fraud protection enhancements help protect the member and joint accountholder(s) from identity fraud events.

These benefits include:

  • Identity Theft Expense Reimbursement Coverage¹ – Receive up to $10,000 to cover expenses associated with restoring your identity.
  • Fully Managed Identity Theft Resolution Services – Access to a dedicated fraud specialist assigned to manage your case until your identity is restored.
  • Identity Monitoring* – Monitoring of more than 1,000 databases and public records.
  • Credit File Monitoring* – Daily credit file monitoring and automated alerts of key changes to your credit report.
  • Credit Report and Score*² – Access to credit report and credit scores.
  • Credit Score Tracker*³ – Receive valuable insight into your credit score.
  • Debit and Credit Card Registration* – Registration of credit and debit cards. Call one toll-free number to cancel and request replacement cards should cards become lost or stolen.
  • Dark Web Monitoring* – Monitor your personal information on the dark web and receive alerts when your personal information is exposed online.
  • High Risk Transactions Monitoring* – Receive alerts if your identity is used for account management changes or other high-risk transactions.
  • Social Media Monitoring* – Help protect your social media presence from threats and risks ranging from hacked accounts to online risks and reputational damage.
