Where can I find interest rates for checking accounts?

What will I need to bring when I open my checking account?
- An unexpired government issued identification card (driver’s license, state ID, passport, military identification), with your current address. If your current address is not on the ID, you will need proof of residency (including, but not limited to: residential bill, bank statement, payroll check stub).
- For individuals under 16 years old, a school-issued ID (any student ID needs approval)
- Acceptable documents for persons under age 18 and certain individuals with disabilities, who are unable to present a document listed above:
- School record or report card
- Clinic, doctor or hospital record
- Daycare or nursery school record
- Birth certificate
- Medicare/Medicaid card
- Minimum opening deposit of $25 for Platinum, Reserved and Free 4 U accounts, $10 minimum deposit for Student Checking accounts.

What’s the difference between Standard Checking and Reserved Checking?
Standard Checking is our most basic checking account. Reserved Checking accounts are interest-bearing accounts, but fees are assessed if direct deposit is not maintained.

How do I order or reorder checks?
Checks can be ordered through our partners at Deluxe. To place your order, you’ll need:
- Guardian’s routing number
- Your 13-digit account number, found in the center on the bottom of your checks
- Your next check number

When do I start earning interest on my account?
Interest-bearing accounts begin earning interest on the same day that funds are deposited

How is the interest paid on my account?
For interest-bearing accounts, the interest is paid monthly, on the last day of each month. It is credited right to your account.
