The ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE (APR*) is a variable rate and is based on the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate (Index), plus a margin. The margin for the GCU VISA Platinum cards are based on certain creditworthiness and qualification criteria. The Introductory Rates of 2.99% APR for purchases and balance transfers applies to new GCU VISA Platinum and GCU VISA Platinum rewards credit cards. After 6 months/183 days from the date of your first qualifying transaction, the rate will adjust to the standard purchase and balance transfer rate, currently 12.74% APR to 19.99% APR, and are subject to change. First qualified transaction must be completed within the 183 days from the open date to qualify. We may end your introductory rates and apply the standard APR based on the terms of your original agreement if you make a late payment.
