2026 Board of Directors Candidate Biographies
Jonathan Waldron
Board Director
Serving on the Guardian Credit Union Board of Directors since 2024, Mr. Waldron has become familiar with the credit union. He hopes to continue to contribute individually and collectively to ensure wonderful member service levels are maintained, shareholders are taking advantage of beneficial products and services, and the credit union’s growth as a community financial institution.
A United States Army veteran with thirty years of service, Mr. Waldron has since served as an Assistant District Manager for the Social Security Administration and is a licensed realtor and notary public. This background shapes his interest in continued public service and having a positive impact in the community, as well as his management, customer service and communication skills. Mr. Waldron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human services from Upper Iowa University.
Rick Ondriezek
Mr. Ondriezek seeks a position on the Guardian Credit Union Board of Directors because of a deep commitment to supporting the financial well-being and growth of our community. With a background in the financial services industry and strategic planning, Mr. Ondriezek believes he can positively contribute to the credit union’s mission and the members the credit union serves.
Mr. Ondriezek has extensive leadership experience in privacy governance, client services transformation, identity and access management, and financial investigations and compliance. With a background in financial crimes investigation and honorable discharge as a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent, Mr. Ondriezek is currently Sr. Director – Print and Digital Document Management with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Ottawa University, an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Mohawk Valley Community College. Mr. Ondriezek is also a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Voting Eligibility
The election of directors to the Board of Directors will be held during the Annual Member Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. In 2026, there are two three-year terms open for nomination. Members of Guardian Credit Union since June 16, 2025 will be entitled to vote in the election. Members who are unable to attend may vote by absentee ballot. All absentee ballots must be received by Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
