Supporting the Milwaukee Police Department
We are saddened by the February 6 death of Milwaukee police officer Matthew Rittner, who was killed in the line of duty. Officer Rittner was the third Milwaukee officer to be killed in the line of duty in the past eight months. As a show of support for our community, we will be accepting donations for survival items for Milwaukee police officers. Items will be donated to Milwaukee Police District 6, but donations may extend to other districts.
Drop-offs will be accepted at each of our branch locations through Wednesday, February 20. Items such as gift cards to local food establishments or “survival items” such as energy drinks, water, coffee, snacks, thermal gloves/socks and letters of encouragement or support are appreciated. Edible items must be new and sealed in the original packaging – the departments cannot accept opened food items for the safety of their officers.
