A slight update to the online banking login process will be occurring on Friday, April 9. This change will not affect your experience with the Guardian Credit Union mobile app.
You will now be able to enter both your username and password from guardiancu.org and you will then arrive at your online banking dashboard.
With this latest release of our online banking platform, upon initial login to the site, you will be required to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) to verify your identity. You will receive your verification code via SMS (text message) or email, based upon your existing MFA preferences.
If you currently use security questions as your preferred MFA method, you should have received an email on March 11, 2021, communicating the discontinuation of this MFA method and options for changing your preferences.
To check your current MFA selection, please log in to the online banking site, access the Settings widget and then click the Security tab. You will see a section title Two-Factor Authentication.
Your preferred choice will have a star next to it. You can change this by clicking on the edit icon.
